How to sit properly infront of of a lifted monitor?
Hello there
ive asked some question on how to place the monitor best for ergonomics [meaning in height]
anyway i wanted to ask how to fix this problem i have placed some books below my monitor so i dont have to bend down looking at it
the problem that acours when i do it that when i lean back on the chair and use the mouse all my upper body tends to lean to the right side , which is very anoyying after that and makes very uncomftorable posture late on
it went that far that i have 2 swivel chairs that if you sit on them they got a little bent to the right from that
wanted to know if anybody knows what should i do to stop it because using the monitor at top of screen at eye level doesnt cause this problem of leaning but causes me to look down and isnt so comfterable after all after all

Whatever pointers you found online or elsewhere are only guides. In the end, you set up your monitor, keyboard and mouse to your own comfort given the table and chair you have. When worse comes to worse, get a saw and cut the table's legs to get the angles right.. Just make sure your knees can still fit comfortably under it but you will realize that the monitor will go lower so it may be a good idea to just mount it on the wall instead.

adjust your chair height and adjust your arm stretch to make it level at an angle with the mouse surface.
if the display is not comfy for you, just move it back or forward until it is.
