Madeleine McCann: Investigation into German suspect could be closed in New Year ?

"Portuguese police (...) reportedly believe the investigation into Brueckner has wasted precious time as they ruled him out as a suspect shortly after the four-year-old girl went missing from a resort in Praia da Luz."

Could this be yet another 'great' lead that 'will find Madeleine' and prove that Madeleine was abducted and yet again re-inforcing the idea that the Portuguese Police were right all along since 2007 in suspecting the parents ??    The investigation of Broebucker(?) will be closed in January !

Is this any kind of surprise.   Just another red herring and pointless when I suspect most people at least, don't believe she's alive, poor wee thing.

I'll be glad that this man isn't going to be used as a scape goat.

The latest is that the Portuguese police, German police and English police are going to meet in Lisbon (listen to this because it is more than comical)... because they want to discuss where Madeleine might be buried. If this isn't at attempt at taking the P***  I don't know what is.  The Smith family saw Gerry carry Madeleine towards the beach, LOL...  It is a logical conclusion that she was buried at sea so why the hell are they meeting in Lisbon ?!!

The parents did it and buried the poor little girl. There are a number of videos on Youtube of the parents being interviewed, with some very strange answers. One expert has videos on Youtube where he analysed the answers bit by bit and showed they were lying.

I think we all know who the culprits are and it was time they stopped wasting tax payers money on this case.

I would rather trust the assessment of the German police. The Portugese police only have to wait another two years for the time limit for a prosecution to expire, a prosecution that would expose their incompetence.

The Portuguese already know what happened and who was responsible, they know where the girl rests too, they closed their investigation because of Scotland Yard interference and coercion which intensified after they formally named the last known people to see Madeleine, "arguidos".

The German guy is a nasty, vile excuse of a man and if they pin it on him I won't be losing any sleep over it since it would be best he never gets out anyway.  He's a danger to women and kids.

As Verulam 1  has said, I hope he isn't going to be used as a scapegoat. It would be a very convenient way of closing the case.

I disagree with Anonymous, that the parents were not responsible, if Madeleine hadn't been left alone, while the parents were out drinking in a bar, she wouldn't have disappeared. It is illegal to leave young children unattended in ANY E.U country but, no action was ever taken against them.

Edit...@ Anonymous...Nowhere did I say they were responsible for her murder, neither did I in any way imply or intimate it. Their responsibility was to look after their children, they failed and their neglect in their parenting duties; led to their daughter's disappearance. That is fact and not in the least bit libellous.

The Portuguese police are incompetent and you're a moron for believing the parents are responsible.

They are bad parents for sure, but you should know all about that, having been dragged up in the gutter yourself.

Edit....Sir Prince Kenny...I have already said they were bad parents, but you're suggesting they killed her and disposed of the body and that's libel.
