why do they sell shock collars then?
it is one thing to bark. it is another altogether to violently bark when someone stands up, or when people walk by on the sidewalk, or when the wind blows.
and no, talking to the dog calmly and trying to train her has not worked...

Why do you have a dog in the first place, if it is not allowed to bark?
Train the poor animal, or give him up to someone with a little more compassion.
