Madeleine and the German police !!?

2 or 3 weeks ago the German police were adamant that they "had proof that Madeleine was dead and proof that this German suspect Christian Brückner had abducted and then killed Madeleine McCann" and yet there are daily news reports now that they are excavating a house where the suspect Christian Brückner once lived and another house in Germany where he also lived too and one third house for similar reasons. If the German police, as they claimed, "have proof that this German guy did it" then why haven't they already charged him ? Or perhaps there isn't and there never was any evidence against this German and this is just another BS 'lead' ?  Question:  Could I please have your comments. Thanks you

Update:

THE NEWS TODAY:

"Christian Brückner's lawyer has described the excavation of a Hannover allotment by police as "a pure desperate act". Friedrich Sebastian Fülscher, representing the 43-year-old lead suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, issued the statement in response to the two-day search by Braunschweig police at an allotment plot just outside Hannover earlier this week.

I think it's bs to protect the real abducters

they like to mention cellars and digging to trick  the public but I for one am not buying it

They want us to  think the evil person that abducted Madeline is German and a Christian - they are so predictable

They are still certain.   Getting evidence that would be convincing and permissible in a German Court is something they are working on.  Also, there are other victims of the suspect they are still investigating.

I'd suggest the German police (nor any other police) don't yet have positive proof that this man had any involvement in what happened to Maddie, let alone that he killed her.   I also hope the man isn't being used as some form of scape-goat and that he makes it out of jail alive, and remains so.   I happen to believe there are only two people who truly know what happened that evening, and a few more who know, by association.

I just hope that one day, the truth will be known.

The German police have always referred to him as "Christian B" to comply with their laws so where does that quote in which they claim to have proof "Christian Buckner" killed Madeleine McCann come from?

Because you need hard evidence before you can change someone not just hearsay

Brückner's lawyer would say that wouldn't he?

If his client was not a proven criminal and liar

the matter could be cleared up far sooner.
