One significant explanation was the decay of worker's organizations. ... Inside the private area, worker's organizations are a crazy person. No place is this more clear than at Walmart, the biggest private business in the United States Not one of Walmart's 1.4 million workers has a place with an association.

Be employed there, then contact a union to help you get started. Don't expect much success.

One of the easiest ways to get started is to contact your closest organization and petition them to join their union.

They will help you set up campaigns to get your coworkers to sign up for joining the union. If you get a majority vote, you would become part of that union.

Good luck trying that with a company like Walmart - it has failed horribly in the past.

Walmart is one of the nation’s most aggressive anti-union companies. People are scared to vote for a union because they’re scared their store will be closed. So you won't be successful.
