Why does Bernie Sanders promote Socialism?

The answer is ... a lack of two brain cells rubbing together.

He wants to be elected and he knows offering free stuff will gain him much support.

Because it makes him very rich

He longs for food lines and Control and crappy housing for people

it's consistent with many in his generation...

...his earliest memories are stories about a horrible war going on a world away...when he was still in grade school, many of the male role models in his life had been deeply scarred by that war..

...to their credit, the Greatest Generation dedicated themselves to ensuring that future generations would not suffer the horrors of global war and depression...but that honorable purpose produced two unintended consequences:

....first, by shielding their children from the adversity that challenged them, they also insulated them from the very thing that built their character and core values...

...second, as Bernie's generation grew into their "know-it-all" years, they took their parents' warnings to imply that everything that came before them was less-educated and less-civilized ... the 'American Way' was similarly seen as something outdated..

...this new generation believed that they could out-think war, poverty, economic hardship and injustice....and that insubstantial, theoretical outlook drew them naturally to socialism....which always looks great "on paper"..

how much is taken out of your paycheck for social security? do you even know what that is? you are already participating in socialism, kid
