What computer specifications are most important for watching videos on a computer?

I get paid 1 penny for each video I watch, and thus want to be able to open as many windows as possible on my computer and play them simultaneously. When I get to about 6 now it starts bogging down. If I wanted to get a new computer to handle this kind of activity better, what would be the most important specifications to look for (i.e. processor speed, RAM, etc.). Thanks

The CPU, GPU, and RAM are all a factor, but I'm not sure why you'd need to watch 6 videos at the same time.

If you've got Windows 10, you can easily find out with Task Manager. Just look at the Processes or Performance tab, then just watch if it's the network, GPU, RAM, CPU etc maxing out.

There will be a minor trick to figuring out the CPU limit depending on how many cores your program supports. If the CPU load sticks around a certain number, it's probably limited by how many cores it uses. For example, if you've got a 4 core CPU, it can stick at 25% because it only uses one core, or 50% because it uses two cores, etc.

Playing Youtube videos eats away at the GPU, RAM, and the CPU will get some on and off use too. You can do this from a laptop with modest specs though. Yes, your internet speed will play a huge factor here.

I played 3 youtube videos at the same time at 1080p, and it consumed 1.3gb of RAM, used 20% of a dual core with Hyperthreading Core i5 6200u, and it used 20% of the Integrated GPU resources.

Cores. Ram and internet bandwidth are most important GPU has nothing to do with your issue so get as many cores and ram as you can afford

@geek-in-training. If I use one laptop at my house I can do 3 windows at a time and that is it. . . . if I use another I can do 6. Both are on the same internet browser (Chrome) and internet connection. . . .so there has to be something else that comes into play.

It wouldn't be a computer specification that you need as much as a better Internet connection (more mbs connection)
