how do I delete my questions? I accidentally post a question that made no sense and I want it deleted (im on phone btw)?

Click edit. Delete is an option if there is no answer.

Click edit, if you there is no delete button, you cannot delete it.

You can't delete a question once it been answered. Even if the answer is removed or reported and deleted. Once it has an answer at any point of that question it can not be removed. Disregard what other tell you about deleting your answer it will not work.

If no one had answered it you would have been able to click on Edit and delete but once you answered it the delete option was removed.

If you still can you have to Switch to the Desktop Site first once your on the Desktop Site

you can only delete your question if it has no answers on it if there are

no answers on it to delete it click on the x delete question button under the

blue edit menu once there is answers on it you wont be able to delete it

If it was the question that was a nonsense bunch of letters, it's gone now.

I reported it for being "not a question"

Anyway, it's not there anymore.

IF your question on Yahoo Answers has no answers yet, you can just go into your question and select Edit>Delete.

IF your question on Yahoo Answers DOES have ANY answers, even if you posted in the answer area yourself, then it cannot be deleted (unless any answers under it are removed by those who posted them). The only way to get it removed if it has answers from others, from that point on, is to have enough accounts report it as a violation, so the system removes it from the display.

You have only one answer (your own). Delete that answer. Then you will be able to delete your question by clicking on the edit button underneath your question.
