Every KTM dealership has a small cemetary out-back behind the Service Dept. to remeber ALL THOSE KTM riders that died from riding KTM, sometimes they need to put up causion ribbons around the corpses so you don't trip over them as you enter the shop.

Don't worry about it, those 'something like people' were Harley riders, we all know how they 'trash-talk' other brands.

Quality ride comes with frequent tweaking

done by learned or paid maintenance. It

has little tolerance for any long delays for

routine maintenance. On the plus side

they help bury the mistakes that buy them.

It depends on the dealership you work with ... The bike is good but the dealers are not aways good and that will make for a bad owner ship experance

"Is it good to buy KTM?" Yes, if that's the sort of bike you're after. Whereas if, say, you promised your missus to spend the money on feeding and clothing your kids, then buying a KTM is not so 'good'.

KTM's reputation is no worse or no better for accidents that its competition. You could chalk up a lot of those deaths to driver error not bike failure.

Since you haven't specified a model it is difficult to advise you on flaws.

    Are KTM's killer bikes?

No, they like the repeat custom having a reputation for killing their owners is not going to help that.

They are better specced than most alternatives, which is why they cost more.
