My Apple magic house is draining the battery excessively when not in use.?

Does anyone know what causes it and how to cure it

Update:

No real fix for this problem. It wasn't running out so much when I first purchase it.

Let me start off by saying I don't know how to fix that, but let me tell you this!

From my past experience with the apple magic mouse, it's fidgety to use, it was way too sensitive and kept scrolling my screen up and down whenever I touched it. Also costs you money because you have to keep replacing batteries. You can't even right click without difficulty.

Only thing it does well is look good.

I recommend buying a wired mouse, less hassle, easier to use, will cost you less money in the long run.

Turn if off when not in use. The switch is on the bottom!
