Why did Trump chicken out in Mexico?

Because if he had brought that up with the President, he knows that the president would have called him an idiot and told him the butler would take care of him and have gone to bed.

Trump is not an idiot himself.

Trump is a sinister kind of politician who likes to take advantage of a crisis to garner power for himself whichever way he can.

Think about this for a second.

Trump calls on the federal government to build a wall. Maybe he gets some congressman to propose a bill.

Or he just decrees he can build the wall on his first day and advisors have to explain to him, that actually, no he can't.

Well, Trump IS a cowardly bully. Mexico knows what he said and will hopefully act accordingly. He's a punk who's afraid of having to back up his words. He didn't say it while in MX because he knew that if he did, there'd be major repercussions. Many of his employees are Mexican and many of his items are made in Mexico.

The two counties have a trade imbalance of US$80 BILLION. Negotiate a new trade deal and the US coffers save $70 BILLION, and the other $10 BILLION pays for the wall.

Trump is not a politician, but he is a negotiator. He starts with an extreme position and then when he sits at the negotiation table he makes deals. It's how he made his money.

He may not even build a wall, but he will have a more secure border. The position of Obama and Hillary is to ignore all the border rules.

It was planned as a quick trip from the beginning. The President of Mexico simply wanted to meet the next U.S. President.
