Where can I buy and sell stocks?

Update:

I am aware that I need to go through an online stockbroker, however I am a beginner and am planning to deal with cheaper stocks. Any recommended brokers?

Barrons publishes a rating of various online brokers (just google it.) The biggest concern for most investors should be minimizing fees--personally I use eOption which doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but only charges $3/trade. Good luck.

Honestly, the choice of online brokerage matters much less than the investing choices you make. All the brokerage ads are so much blather.
