Nikon lens to Canon EOS Rebel T5i adapter?
I have a Nikon Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6 G AF Zoom lens
that I would like to use on my Canon EOS Rebel T5i DSLR yet the lens doesnt fit. I have looked all over the web for an adatper and all I have found is a
Canon to Nikkon which is not what I need. Can someone send me a link to the proper adapter?

Something is strange, because the Canon lenses, which have a wider mount than Nikon, cannot be adapted to Nikon F bodies. There is a Canon EOS to Nikon 1 adapter (not what you want), but I would expect a search for Nikon Canon adapter would show more Nikon F lens to Canon EOS body adapters.
Nikon F lens can be adapted to Canon EOS bodies. Because you have a G-lens with no mechanical aperture ring, you need an adapter that has mechanical access to the aperture lever.
This adapter would work.

Is it worth spending money on adapter better saved towards a better lens? If your 70-300mm Nikkor is the cheapy-cheap $170 lens, whose sharpness diminishes at the longer focal lengths, probably not.
The cheapy-cheap Canon 75-300mm is no better. A seriously good lens is the $449 Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens.
Another very good choice is the $299 Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM.

Such an adapter could cost about as much
as a lens that would fit the Canon body.
I would much prefer to buy a lens...

Not worth the bother. Sell the lens and get a proper one for your camera but if you insist, see these below.
