Can i use the usb port of modem to connect to my smartphone as it have otg .Will my phone use the internet .?
as my ethernet cable is connected to computer .

it is a bsnl broadband modem type 1 ADSL2+ CPE /Router ( DNA - A201BE-I)

Probably not. Some modems use the USB for updates or connecting to specific devices.
