WHY was Billy Dee Williams on Dancing with The Stars to begin with?

I would have to say that they couldn't find any one else join in on the dance contest.

I thought the same thing about is age and how he could handle it, and then I thought of Drew Carey and wonder if Bob Barker will be next..lol

I seriously do think that they should have an age restriction on this show because you' ll never know how these older folks can handle it.

Good question to bad you couldn't ask the people at DWTS .... they all seem like total idiots to keep putting people on the show that all need and want a sympathy vote instead of a trophy... granted they all have their problems they should know by now this is not for them and know their limits, the dancing regimen takes a lot out of you and they know damn well that they will never make it to the end their only hurting themselves .... these elderly people need to quit and lets remember them the way they were.

I would love to be a fly on the wall when DWTS decides who they want for the show and who was asked but maybe turned it down.

The way they have changed the show it gets harder and harder to watch.

Well maybe he wanted to experience and try to learn to dance. He is 76 years old so he's not going to be able to move as good as the younger stars.

They have had a few elderly people like Valerie Harper,Cloris Leachman,Florence Henderson, Buzz Aldrin.

Alot of this show is based on popularity.

The show just tries to get the biggest names possible, they don't care about age or health. They just care about ratings.

Money. He needed the money why not???????
