How do you know your in a relationship?

When you both feel real warm and cozy when your together and you both can't wait to see each other again,trouble for some couples is that one feels much stronger then the other and the other may feel pressured and distance themselves hence:no relationship.Love is not always equal,you can find one or the other having more love then the other and feelings will be hurt.I love to see couples that are equally commited and in love,its more scarce then you think.

You pretty much are in one then lol. I usually make it a point to ask "Do you want to be exclusive, as in boyfriend and girlfriend"? After hanging out, and getting closer...thats where it leads. We both know that we want to "see" one another so when it begins to feel more serious than just dating then thats when I feel the need to establish it.

When you date someone and verbally establish that you are in a relationship.

That's how it always worked for me.

EDIT: I think that if you're mature enough to hook up (if your definition of hook up matches mine), then you have to be mature enough to ask him/her if he/she is your boy/girlfriend.
