What do you think of Martina Hingis coming out of retirement after getting into the Tennis Hall of Fame?

She's playing World Team Tennis and doubles . . . do you think she would do well in singles? Why?

I think it's okay because her success occurred in the late 90s and she's been out for so long. And I just think she is coming out of retirement for something fun to do. I don't think she intends on changing the history books and gaining Slams. I think she may have success in the doubles because of her variety and craftiness. (though i would recommend a different partner, because Hantuchova has been a hot mess all year).

But if she comes back in singles I don't think she will have success because tennis has changed since her time to a more power game

I think she would do well in singles if she is in the right shape and physical condition.

Not only are Players playing very well into their 30s these days, but Hingis' game could still give other Wta players trouble in my opinion. She could play similar to Radwanska, except with a little more power. Only thing is how her body would hold up. She might not like the idea of so many long rallies in singles. Who knows if she will decide to come back.

I wish her the best of luck in doubles.

i think she has earned her spot in the hall of fame with 5 grand slams to her name.. an many weeks at number 1

her endeavour for doubles is ok.. she has enough strategy to do well with that

in terms of singles.. there are many players who poise a problem to her aside Serena willams... even players like Radwanska, wozniaki and power players like azarenka, sharpova, licksi could all take hingis out these days.... more then likely

Provided there's no Williams sisters around, I could see her doing 'okay'.
