Would 2G scam, Adarsh society scam, S band scam.. etc would fade into history like Bofors scandal?

The later scams like the Coalgate had pushed the older scams to the background. We once in a way hear about Kalmadi's charge sheets being filed after so much time, but nothing about the pursuit of Raja's or Dayanidhi's scandals or about the S band issue etc. Govt is busy enacting more laws by Ordinance route to woo the public who do not know about the complex high profile frauds.. More are feared to be added with the attempts to double oil and gas prices to benefit corporates who are to foot the costly election expenses of the national party who has to go to polls next year.

So shall we hope that the array of scandals would die their natural death like the Bofors, Bhopal tragedy heroes (who were let out for obvious gains by the rulers) etc? The opposition is highly divided and weak and the INC is adept in all unfair measures to corner and cow down the opponents - if necessary with CBI or whatever - as well! If the next term is also won by UPA, we could hope for a wipe out of corruption cases and corruption made more professional (not able to be detected). This is the fear by shrewd onlookers.

what is your take on this probability? Do think aloud about the probabilities as plausibly as you can make of them. Thanks for your time.

Update:

Gauvav, so many scams are just the recent events while much less serious but nevertheless ugly scams did happen off and on in earlier regimes, even as early as Nehru's period and before during the interim govt where native leaders shared power with the British rulers. People haven't actually forgotten nor allowed to forget the long mega scandals (by select media) but the rulers like to side track their attention with magic statutes like Lok Pal Bill, the RTE, FS bill etc

Brother Vijay, at least MP's CM arrrested the senior Minister unlike Mr Tiwari's case where he was just relieved from his onerous responsibility without the least hurt for the shame he brought on the State's apex office! But as someone says, it would be very cheap to make comparisons in cases of criminality and scams. Yediyurappa was as bad as the Railway Minister who was booked for the unfair advantage taken by his relative for appointment of a Rly board member.. But then we don't count the va

Update 2:

...count the value of damages in terms of tangible units alone but count the fall in ethics in public life and loss to the prestige of the Govt of a big nation!

I am happy other visitors were not as parochial as Bror Vijay to hush up the follies of a party at the expense of the national interests. May be there could still be some way out. We may still find some honest leader coming powerfully on the scene to redeem our past glories!

Update 3:

thanks Kandasamy sir, for visiting and placing your valued response.

Captain sir, why Chinese, even Italian govt had arrested ex PM for a crime. It happens in many places around the world. In Pak, ex General turned President is being brought to book, but his case is being adjudged by Judges who were at the receiving end in his tenure. But then it is still a land mark for a banana republic where the Military is still more powerful than elected civil govt. But India with a history of illustrious leaders and judges, is groping in confusion since powerful people at the helm are themselves in the dock!

Vijay I am unable to enjoy your joke. You always see criticism against UPA as support for BJP who is no untouchable for us, much less Modi who is still to be convicted for any offense, in spite of brisk campaigns against him and newer witnesses from elite sections of officials coming up to depose after years of silence! I dont want to yield further to your trick to drag the issue out of foc

Yes i agree that there are lot of scams happening nowadays and it is very difficult to remember all of them.Latest is the Rail gate scam in which our rail minister Pawan kumar Bansal was involved. But the fact is these thing will continue to happen as political parties do such kind of scams to boost their personal interests.Remember the bribe case which was done by the UPA just to remain in power. They bribed the ministers to vote in their favor which was later exposed by the NDA govt.So these things will happen and will continue to happen till the political system exists. It is just that old scam are put into dustbin by the govt in power and new scams take place.Old scams come into limelight when the political parties have to fulfill their evil interests.

We humans like comparison Whenever a new scam evolved we think this is not bigger than the previous one and we are rethinking the old one again .Every time a blast evoke we count the person who are suffered ,at what place but not why did this happen again . Is this the result of inequality between us ? We don't forget these event whenever new occurs .These are the references for the present and these are the events which makes a society vulnerable . And the result is Amendments .

certainly , all the efforts of some individuals, press, media ,television etc etc are watched like a new film and it will be interesting only for some time remembered for some time but the truth will never ome and also the judgement/punishment .

you know the election winning of the home has been contested some 4 years ago and still not one single hearing has been contested. After the end of the parliament terms what is the use of hearing and judgement all such efforts are mere wastes like vizhalukku iraitha neer, kaattil kaaindha nilaa, kadalil karaitha perungaayam, sevidan kaaathil oodhiya sangu,................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, because the homo-sex scams are becoming prominent now.

    Edit@Poondi B Sir:

India needs gossiping and old matters of gossiping become unattractive. Modi bhai has to take some time sitting on back seat, otherwise he will also become outdated!

Hope you enjoy my innocuous lighthearted comments.

    Edit@ captain sparrow:

Should such things as they happen in China also happen in India? You should believe in the fact that

India is the inspiration for the world through ages. India is the world preacher.

    Edit@Poondi B Sir/ 2:

My jokes can not be enjoyed by 'die hard' Modi fans. It in fact, hits them hard. I am surprised that a person of your esteemed stature can be comfortable in seeing all the erstwhile 'stalwarts' of the BJP look like tom thumbs in front of Modi bhai and succumb everything including their self pride to him.

I didn't mean any offence to you, but if you feel bad, so be that.

They should not fade, but the problem is there are so many scams in India that people focus on the current ones and keep forgetting the older ones.
