How do you look at the NLC workers striking work against Court orders to await the negotiation results?

It has become frequent for organised institutions, whether Govt or non govt, corporates or labour unions to disobey court orders these days! A Karnataka Govt refuses to implement court orders, a labour union conglomerate as in NLC refuses to obey court orders? Where would this lead to, if people use their man power to scuttle public life against court orders, like in NLC whose strike is sure to disrupt power supply to the already power starved state of Tamilnadu in particular and the whole of South India whom the NLC supplies power to some extent?

Update:

thank you Moon for your response. But the share of Tamilnadu out of the 2490 megawatt produced by NLC is 1178 MW. This is no small share. Also due to lack of lignite supply to private thermal power units, further 250 MW produced by them would also be not available to the State.

BUt my Q was about the labour unions disregarding the court's directive to wait. If the court had pulled up the Central Govt under which the Corporation falls, the same Unions would have shouted for the head of the Govt (for immediate compliance of their demands to withdraw the decision to sell the 5% shares). The disrespect of the court if its decision/. directives are not in favour to one side, is most despicable isn't it? Doesn't it just look like bullying rather than arguing and persuading the Govt?!

Update 2:

hello Bazzbee madam, I just noticed your presence. I know you don't like to involve in politics and I am pleased to see you in the forum still (after many of us left it). I am just back after brief time in FB and twitter both of which I left in a few months. I find YA more comfortable to share views on current topics of interest.

Update 3:

Swamy sir, thanks for your response. Not just the labour Unions that work under parties like Congress, Communists, Dravidian denominations etc, even advocates belong to some or other political / communal outfits and even manage to capture posts in the Bar council and Advocate Assns and pressurise the Judges to give verdicts they want. An incident in Kanyakumari is taken up by Chennai lawyers to strike work demand court intervention instead of allowing rule of law to play through its stipulated agencies. It is ok if they approached the Collector or CM to take up the issue with police instead of pressing the Judges to intervene bypassing the executive wings charged with the duty to deal these.

Even so did the labour unions bypass court directions. Polticians swear by Constitution and can not disrespect constitutional bodies with ''impunity''. Just because the Courts or Govts lack the grit to take action, they continue to bully the Constitutional bodies in a regular way.

Update 4:

Captain, you have said what general public say though the media are carefully avoiding criticising the Unions. The media are careful about the Activists and Unions while they would boldly attack soft targets with all the force of logic and ethics at their command!

N L C workers will be find happy and satisfied , if the entire sale proceeds of 5% shares distributed among them. In doing so , they may not mind even more % of shares for sale. They are not doing the strike in the National Interest., but. Self-centric..in nature and motive.

NLC union is (in)directly works under one political party .Karnataka government is run by politicians .Corporations are (mis)managed by politicians.

Politicians are above law . So court orders are ignored with impunity.

Central government earlier proposed to disinvest a share of NLC.DMK threatened to withdraw support to UPA..For politicians to survive courts must be like weather ****. Follow political winds

your worry about power shortage in Tamil Nad is invalid because a major chunk of power generated from N.L.C is distributed to other states well. It would be a good deed if T.N government take over N.L.C.
