The Apple fanboys will say iphone and the Samsung fanboys will say Samsung. They are both good phones and both have their strengths and weaknesses, as the independent reviewers point out.

Just google for "compare iphone 5 galaxy s4" - for example, see: http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/reviews/mobile-phone/34...

In the end it's up to you to choose which interface you personally prefer. The problem with letting somebody else decide for you is if you are unhappy with the choice you have to live with it for a long time.

Go into a store and ask to try them both out for a while. You will soon see which you like best.

Why are you even comparing these two? The iPhone 5 was comparable to the 1yr old Galaxy S3, which beat it in many respects by the way. The S4 is newer and even better than the S3 it replaces - which technically makes it far better than the iPhone 5.

It is no secret that Apple has a large fan base for the iPhone, not because the iPhone 5 is better, but because that's what fans do. They just, well, buy stuff regardless.

So if it's the Apple-mania craze that you are after, then get the iPhone 5. That's all you will be buying and nothing much more.

But if you are after a powerful 1.9GHz Quadcore Android phone with a 5inch HD Super AMOLED screen, Smart Scroll, Air View, NFC, IR Port, and many more, then the Galaxy S4 is the way to go.

Also remember that the Samsung alaxy S4 is the most popular smartphone in the world right now, and the fastest selling Android smartphone in the history of mobile communications. Nuff said.

    iPhone 5.

The Galaxy S4 is a great phone but it still lags quite a lot. Most of the new features of the GS4 are useless and not many people use it frequently. Also, Android doesn't have as much apps as iOS.

Besides, iOS 7 is going to be unveiled tomorrow (June 10). So you should wait and see if you like the new features as the iPhone 5 is definitely goig to get the iOS 7 update.

Which reminds me: GS4 and Android phones normally don't get many software updates or new features and if they do get updates it's usually quite late.

Both are great phones. Choose the one you like more and feel comfortable using.

iPhone 5 and Galaxy s4 are two great phones. I like both. I have used an iPhone and an Android in the past and I have to say they both have their pros and cons. The iPhone is very good for an app lover as I personally think the apps on Apple App store are better than the Google play store, nice design and you can go to any phone store and ask for an iPhone case and they are bound to have 1. With Android, you can customize the look with different app placements, widgets and many more (so can the iPhone but you have to jail-brake it with the risk of bricking the phone) The same as jail-braking, you can root your android to allow you to gain administrator access, re-clock the processor, remove original skin and much more. It is really down to customer preference. If you do not know. WWDC 2013 which is Apples conference,(in two days!!) they will be talking about what they are releasing i.e (new iPads, iPhones, iMacs, software and so on) check out and wait for them to talk about the iPhone 5s. It might be worth the wait and have you checked out the HTC One?

Samsung phones r totally better than iphones. So much more powerful and packed with features. Iphones r simple phones and not very customizable.. the s4 is amazing but I believe the samsung galaxy note 2 is the best phone in the world right now. Similar to the s4 in features but better, the s pen stylus is so useful I couldnt imagine a phone without one now. And its not too big, fits in yr pocket fine and once uv had a large screen u ll never go back. The trouble with iphone is u cant remove the battery, with samsung if yr running low on charge, just swap to a spare battery and carry on. The iphone battery is rubbish u ll get half a day. with the s4 u ll go a full day between charges. With the note 2 u ll go 2 days between charges. Iphone doesnt support micro sd memory card. With samsung u can buy a relatively cheap sd card and boost yr phones memory buy upto 64gb, thats tones of pictures videos and music. The android app store is full of free apps, with apple app store u ll be paying for more apps. Check out the youtube and online reviews of the s4 and note 2to see how good they are.. also check out the online comparisons of iphone and samsung... samsung always beats iphone.
