Could Loyce Means be the Packers' answer at safety?

He's 5'10" and 190, the same size as former Packer star safety Willie Wood. Both were free agents coming out of college and Willie went on to be an eight time Pro Bowler. Loyce Means played well at small college Houston for four years and then played a year, and well, in the Canadian Football League. He's a weight lifter and VERY fast, so could be the safety with a lot of range that former Packer safety great Johnny Gray thinks the Packers need.

If he eats healthy , exercises by doing weight lifting, and either, jogging or going for a long run everyday he will greatly increase his chances of being a successful, top notch safety for the Green Bay Packets... Goo luck.....

It depends on his work ethic during every offseason. If Loyce Means works hard and performs very well in practice every day, he will greatly improve his chances of becoming a successful, top notch NFL safety for the Green Bay Packers in the future.

That was a different era of football. And i highly doubt it. I'll be surprised if he makes the roster come September if all the corners were healthy. Although that never happens. The question is can he tackle? If he can, then maybe. If he can't he's just a dimeback.

Well, he ain't going to be a Nick Collins right away. If he does half as well, he'll have a decent career in the NFL.
