Does Dancing affect weight?
I am confused as to whether it helps to reduce weight or maintaining the body weight?

Yes, it does, is the short answer. In the beginning it might help you loose weight, but if you stick with it, it will start building and toning the muscles. And you will probably get more flexible and it's a good workout for the brain as well, because you need to have coordination and remember the steps. So it can help with both maintaining the weight, and you might loose some at the same time. It depends on how much you dance and for how long you dance. If you combine dancing with pilates for example, you will get very slim, long and strong muscles.

Dancing will help you loose weight as it's excersize. However, it will also tone up your muscles too which can increase body mass. Hope this helps x

In a way, it's catch 22, you lose fat, because exercise burns it, but even though you may lose weight, it can also increase as you muscles become stronger, muscles are heavier than fat!
To answer your question basically, yes you'll lose weight. It does.

It is the best exercise and exercising helps to reduce weight. It has multiple uses like it entertains us ,it makes us flexible,slim,and fit. It also helps us to burn calories hence lose weight .
