Why in Science and Mathematics section are there many one-timers ....?

who ask the question, do not give any feed-back or select BA and never return to ask again? They are not appreciative of the help they get by the answerers of this forum. This does not seem to be the case in many other sections like religion and culture or sports.

I've been thinking about this exact same question for quite a while. I've come to the conclusion it is because they cannot read the answer. They either do not use the method we do to answer or we are using exactly the same method and they simply do not get it. It's the same as what their teachers are doing and it is incomprehensible to them.

I tend to answer the lower level stuff because that is all I understand. That's where I taught. What I am saying might be particularly pronounced at that level. I know most of you answer at the higher levels and when I do wander in there, the response is the same.

Then there's the problem of multiple answers. The answers are all good, so they don't know which one to pick. They pick none. I don't know why that is so. I am starting to participate in non-math/physics/chemistry venues and I find the results the same.

I've wandered into Religion and it is not logical. BA's are normally given out for agreement with the poster and the object is to see who can pull a one up on the other class of people "Atheists" vs. "Christians" Frankly its boring. I dislike the terminology. There is absolutely no attempt to learn anything. The argument is kind low level and stupid considering the importance of the subject matter. I'm going to edit this in a moment with examples. But I want to get it posted.

People who typically post in Religion and Culture or Sports are looking for actual answers to questions that they actually care about. They came up with the question, they are seeking an answer. Most of the people in the Science and Mathematics section are looking for a quick way to get out of doing their homework. They want to get an answer, write it down on their paper, and never come back. I wish more people would be appreciative because we do this stuff for free. There are other websites like Tutor.com (I have a friend who works there) and Chegg who get paid to do exactly what we do here for nothing.

  • In religion related section people are religious, pious and love to acknowledge whom so ever gives answers their questions ,as such those related to culture appears to have culture to acknowledge naturally and those who rise questions related to sports have true sportsmen spirit to acknowledge, appreciate those who attempt to help them .Now those who rise questions in maths are quite calculative and hesitate to lose time in acknowledging those who already wasted their time in answering their questions rise those who rise science related questions are generally skeptical as whether it is the best answer or should they wait for still better answer with spirit of scientific enquiry

arithmetic isn't a technological know-how. this is the language of technological know-how. In technological know-how there are experiments and theories that could or won't become actual. In math there are theorems which, whilst shown, could desire to constantly be actual.

Probably because they are all just trying to get us to do their homework for them.
