Which kind of windows are better UPVC ones or Wooden ones?

UPVC windows last a lifetime and never need painting.

Both are good. Wood will rot if your windows sweat, and require more maintenance like painting. It is the R value you should be interested in, Triple pane better than double. Argon or other low E gas filled is good. Reflective coating to stop some of the UV rays.
