How to set Amplifier freq?

I have got an Amplifier JBL GTO - 1004, it's a 4channel amp. I have hooked a JBL CS - 1215T Basstube on it. I had to tune my amp but i don't understand at what hertz should i put freq on? i want clear and punch in my bass

    I would keep all the knobs low because once ou turn up your stereo I don't think it makes any much of a sound difference.At least thats just me.Remember that the knobs on your amp are not volume knobs.That's why I keep mine low to a quarter of a turn.

    Setting the cutoff frequency about 80hz is common. I would not go below 60hz. I listen to mostly rock and set my cutoff about 90hz. Just depends on what sounds good to you.
