I need this important information?

I look forward to expert opinion of any one with knowldge specially Webdesigner/admistrator on the legal validity of the website : courts.IN.gov

I need the following information:

1. This website is official website owned by the Government/Court of the State of Indiana, USA and not a private run website.

2. This website cannot be hacked and its contents altered or changed by any outsider, in otherwords it is well protected website from outside infrigement.

3. The contents in this website are genuine as being claimed and admissable evidence in any court of law anywhere in the world including India.

4. The website and its contents were made admissable piece of evidence in Indian court and the person replying it ever appeared in court of law in India to certify it and its contents as official in nature.

I shall be highly obliged for all these or any other information you can provide relating to the website in question.

Update:

Yes I'm asking for State of Indiana, USA not India, it definitely concern one of my court case that is why I seek this information.

    1. The information of the owner of the web site can be obtained by using WHOIS. For the domain you have mentioned courts.IN.gov , the owner's information, contact, address can be seen here:

    http://www.who.is/website-information/in.gov/

The address of the owner is "150 West Market Street, Suite 530 ISTA, Building,Indianapolis, IN,46204,US which can be located on the map by clicking the following link:

    https://maps.google.com.sg/maps?ie=UTF-8&q=150+Wes...

It can be seen that the maps does show ISTA center.

I am currently in the US in Calif. At the moment the offices would be closed down and be so throughout the weekend. I can call them up on Monday morning if there is anything specific that you want me to inquire about?

    2. Usually, U.S web sites have extremely high security and they comply with PCI DSS, FIPS-140 and related standards and also have appropriate security protocols both informational , organizational implemented. Theoretically, no one can claim web site cannot be absolutely hacked but in practice it requires very coordinated plan with quite a lot of help from insiders to be able to actually hack the web site.

The government itself makes it mandatory to perform penetration testing and testing by ethical hackers before the web site goes online and security is an ongoing process. It is highly unlikely that the web site is compromised in anyway. Even if it is, it would be noticed by those that use it and an alarm would be raised immediately and reported to Computer Security Emergency Response Team (CERT) and steps would be taken to fix it.

Public statement would be made on the breach of security, with the explicit mention of the issue and also the measures taken.

    3. A web site is represented by the entity as part of dissemination of information to public. I am sure, the contents of web site can be quoted, though i am not a legal expert. But I am sure if such an assertion is required by the authority itself, a court in India can request Indiana government for the said attestation of information and would be duly complied.

If you are talking about this one website courts.IN.gov then I'm positive it's only talking about Indiana (a state in the USA) and NOT India. So it does not apply to you.

Hello Vijay!. Whenever I need any information regarding the USA, I generally send my question on yahoo.com and not at yahoo.co.in. At yahoo.com, if any question comes, its replied by local people, i.e. Americans. So I will recommend that this kind of question, if is asked at yahoo.com, one may get a correct reply. Moreover, more than 3 million Indians, who live there, some may even reply to this question. Thanks.

Source(s): Visted & travelled the USA and well-informed with American news.
