That all depends on the type of freedom that you're talking about.

Many people just think of "freedom" as some huge concept that encompasses everything, but it can be divided out into little parts.

I willingly gave up my freedom to love another woman when I took vows to love my wife. I have freedom in lots of other areas, but I am bound by that commitment.

I will admit that being a slave to that love relationship is one of the happiest things in my life.

yes, for me freedom is free from everything. Where there is love, a great man remarked, there is selfishness hidden somewhere ( ex. a mother loves you, but expects the same in return; only the relationship of god with us is pure, free from every sort of selfishness).

i want to be free from all these worldly relationship, and when i am done it only then i may be called a free person!

The child in us would probably resent it because he or she is not ready to live up to the level of maturity an adult must have to make love work. But the adult in us probably knows this and is able to reign in the rebelling child in favor of better things.
