How much fuel left after fuel indicator light in Honda city?

i 2 have the same model ie ZX Gxi but mine is CVT

as far as i know the car has 8 litres of reserve petrol

when the yellow light comes on it means that the car has started using the reserve petrol

I also have a Honda city Exi a million.5 sort 2 , My gas needle is caught on a million/2 and that i dont understand if the fuell is over or no longer .. It became effective a majority of recently .. I had long gone on an prolonged rigidity and on my before i spotted that the gas needle is caught on a million/2 .. i became scared and did no longer understand if the gas is over or so i fill some gas to be on a secure element . i checked the gas needle and observed that it continues to be showing me a million/2 tank.. i'm disillusioned and frightened and ever considering the fact that googling yet result .. Pls. help

Normally it indicates while their is only one liter of fuel left in the car, and the car travel as per the average of the car.
