Help with a statistics problem in conditional probability & independence?

Of all failures of a certain type of computer hard drive, it is determined that in 20% of them only the sector containing the file allocation table is damaged, in 70% of them only nonessential sectors are damaged, and in 10% of the cases both the allocation sector and one or more nonessential sectors are damaged. A failed drive is selected at random and examined.

1) If the drive is found to have a damaged allocation sector, what is the probability that some nonessential sectors are damaged as well?

2) If the drive is found to have a damaged allocation sector, what is the probability that NO nonessential sectors are damaged?

For the first problem I got 0.875 but not sure if that's correct and for the second problem I don't know how to figure it out because it is asking for no nonessential sectors damaged?

    1. Prob(nonessential damage | allocation damage) = 1/3

    2. Prob = 1- 1/3 = 2/3 (the prob. here = 1- prob you found in 1.)

whilst they chosen a man or woman devoid of astma (ninety 4.4percentof inhabitants): possibilities for allergies attack=0%. No attack in all circumstances. whilst they chosen a man or woman with allergies(5.6% of inhabitants): - He has no attack in ninety seven.3% of the circumstances. - He has an attack in 2.7% of the circumstances. So: in the event that they %. a man or woman at random: risk of allergies attack = 0.056*0.027=... you will see that the prospect of a random man or woman having an allergies attack is a lot smaller.
