Skyrim?????????????????????????

I heard about someone who had just bought Skyrim and was playing it for 9 straight hours, hardly stopping to do anything else. This new game of Skyrim seems really addictive. I'm thinking of buying it for myself. My question is does anyone know of a guide to Skyrim where I could learn how to play Skyrim expertly right off the bat? Thanks!

It's not that skillful of a game, you play it how you want, go where you want to go its a massive open world experience with loads of places to explore. There's a good wiki page dedicated to the Elder Scroll series which provides excellent background information, and walkthroughs to help progress through it.

It's no necessarily addictive, you just lose track of time it seems, allot of quests take quite a bit of time to complete.

If you are willing to invest sometime into it and enjoy role-playing games, than skyrim is the prefect choice. Though if you rarely have the time to play video games than i would say its not worth investing into it.

Play it expertly? There is no such thing.

Its an RPG...its the same as any other, its all about building up your character. Right off the bat, you are pretty weak and have to decide what you want to do. Then, as you do it...you level up in that style and things get more difficult as you progress, until you get towards max levels, by which point you are pretty OP'd and things are easy again.

Try youtube :) If you've played Fallout it should be a walk in the park.

Also he is probably doing a LOT of side quests. The story for Skyrim is pretty short but you have to do some side quests in order to level up to do the main, but only about 2 or 3 of them.

There are loads of FREE Skyrim guides and cheats for you to read online, if you get the PC version there are even in game console cheats. But what is the point of buying a game and cheating?

    3 tips:

    1. Don't piss off giants unless you can take them e.g. glass bow and good archery level

    2. Save often

    3. Try not to look at walkthroughs too much because it spoils the game.

Just play the game and it will teach you all you need to know.

here is a really good guide: http://www.ign.com/wikis/the-elder-scrolls-5-skyri...

I used it to help me out numerous times while I've been playing.

They also have great guides for other games.

You can buy a guide from a shop to online but they cost a lot so I would recommend using internet walkathons until you get the hang of it.

    Its an awesome game!
