Why thereis no uniformity in concessions for senior citizens? (SCs)?

Railways give concessional rate but not the airways or road transport. There are separate queues for SCs in some places but not everywhere. Many buildings including govt., offices, big banks and other public places do not have hand rails for use by the SCs while climbing the stairs up & down.

    Ask department of human service why I have one friend who has the exact same amount of income and assets as another including year of car, value of home etc. One gets 225 per month in food stamps the other can't get a dime. Same county.. I don't get it either..

    Simply for the fact that the issue is in concurrent list and legal norms differ from state to state as well as between states and Centre(please refer to the FDI issue currently catching fire)

    Keep theses issues as demonds and get them; if govt. Know what you need they will considera.

    lazyness i suppose, its not expensive and its not architectually impossible.
