How many years are described as "One Kazhuthai Vayasu" in Tamil?
In the Tamil language, age is sometimes described as so many Kazhuthai vayasu. Tamil speaking people please clarify.

As far as i understand, oru kaluthai vayasu (One Donkey year) is 7 years. When i was 28 yrs, my uncle told me that i have finished naalu kaluthai vayasu ~ kalyanam pannara vayasu. (Marriageable age).

Donkeys vary considerably in size, depending on breed and management. Most domestic donkeys range from 9 to 14.2 hands (36 to 58 inches, 91 to 147 cm), though the Mammoth Jack breed is taller, and the Andalucian-Cordobesan breed of southern Spain can reach up to 15.2 hands (62 inches, 157 cm)high. Donkeys have a lifespan of 30 to 50 years. So 'kazhuthai vayasu' should be taken to mean 'a generation', which is 33 years.

donkeys have lifespan of 30-50 Years (source wikipedia). there seems to be no direct relation with the donkeys age and the common terms Naalu kazhuthai vasau and Yezhu kazhuthai vayasu and all.
one intresstig blog came across on search of this .. it seems to be more meening ful that the age when the Donkeys considered for taking the load as one donkey age. say about 5 years.

குட்டிக்கழுதை என்றால் சுமை ஏற்றியதும் உட்கார்ந்து விடுமாம். பொதி சுமக்கும் நிலை வந்த கழுதை மட்டுமே எழுந்து (அல்லது உட்காராமல்) நடக்குமாம். குடும்பச்சுமைக்குத் தயாரான வயதைக்குறிப்பிட அப்படிச் சொல்லியிருக்கலாம்.
