Graphics Card has slowed down?

Hi, i bought a new computer 3 months ago, the specs are :

Intel DH67BL

Intel Core i5 2400

4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz RAM

XFX HD 6850

The problem is, the first 2 months, everything was fine, i play GTA IV, Crysis 2, and the Sims 3, thats all. The games were running fine, but recently, games have slowed down severely, even sims 3 runs slow, the only game i can play is Counter Strike Condition Zero, can anyone tell why this is happening ?, i don't think there is a virus, because i have Vipre antivirus, and i defragged the hard disk, registry etc., so don't suggest those again.

Please help.

Update:

And also, all settings in catalyst control center are set for performance., i've also tried mid quality, and high quality settings, and the resolution of my monitor is 1680x1050

    Hi

Be sure to have the latest driver installed for your graphics card. Also be sure to have the latest patches installed for all games to fix game bugs.

    Hope I helped!

You driving force is probable corrupted. stunning click on My laptop and choose homes, click the contraptions tab (i've got self assurance it somewhat is the call), then click gadget supervisor. look on your card on the record (strengthen the quite a few types if mandatory). If there's a yellow or pink icon, odds are your driving force has flown south. stunning click on it and p.c.. replace driving force. Have domicile windows seek the internet for a clean reproduction, and/or element it to an i386 folder, if one exists on your gadget (seek! it is in many cases interior the muse of C: or in CWindows.) good success. :)

Check your background tasks for any high CPU intensive apps like Antivirus programs or any scans that you must have scheduled.

Also see whether you have installed any program before you had this problem.

Lastly get Game Accelerator for getting max performance from your machine.

    Hope this helps.
