DISC is stuck in ps3 with YLOD?

How can i get my disc out of my ps3 that has the YLOD? i have tried the fan trick, holding the eject button while turning on the main power from the back, but it does not work at all. i have the 80GB. are there any other tricks?

    Eh thats tricky. The only way I know is to unscrew and remove the top exposing your game. That would void your warranty with Sony though if you are planning to have them fix it if its still under warranty. Call them up and ask about it. Usually they discard the games if sent in for fixing.

    the only way i would know of without breaking the seal is to send it to sony. my friend had to go into the blue ray player and break it is what he said he did. he just bought a new system and broke his game free from his old system. if you want the game and system to work i would tell you to send it to sony. sorry dude
