4 ohms per voice coil for 8 ohm subs or 2 ohm per voice coil for 4 ohm subs... check with JLAudio dot com and look at the tutorial page for various wiring combinations for multiple voice coil subs... but I'm think a parallel series configuration is correct for what the amp can handle in RMS OHMS. As you want to make sure you don't put a 2 ohm load in a mono set up unless the amp can handle it.. but if they are 4 ohm per coil in a series parallel setup you'll be turning the subs into 8 ohms speakers and cutting that in half by running in parallel with each other making the amp see a 4 ohm load.

Parallel will up the resistance to 2 ohms, although in case you're wiring to a stereo amp and could be bridging the two channels seeing 2 ohms an ingredient will see 4 ohms on the bridge. Meening you will the two want a a million ohm sub or a dvc 2 ohm sub
