Why does Yahoo answers seem to divert to Yahoo India so much?

I have notice that so many off the questions/answers are based from 'Yahoo India'.

Many/most of the questions are from people in differing countries, mostly UK and USA.

I thought the idea was for the content to be based on your country (therefore you would see questions from UK residents if your in the UK etc)

Does anyone else not find it frustrating to be presented with a question that is imposable to answer from another country e.g. "I have 2000 rupees, where can I buy a cheap LCD TV?" or I have a TV model number ********* How do I set x,y,z? When the model in question is country specific and imposable to answer!

Another example would be can I change this a 'Walmart' (an American store) when we're in a different country!

Update:

Edit: I said 'SEEM TO' I know it doesn't (or does it!) I DO select questions in the categories I know!

Okay the flipside to the question is why are there SO MANY questions here on Y!India FROM foreign residents, in fact you would be hard pushed to find question FROM an Indian person living IN India (Don't get me wrong I am NOT be racist in anyway)

Are 95%(?) of the askers plain stupid that they ALL post a question on Y!India? (I cannot see that!)

Surely someone in the 'States' would be posting in the countries Yahoo, same as UK residents ect.

In fact there are LESS questions in Y!UK/USA FROM UK/USA residents than here on Y!India!

There must be a reason that non-Indian residents are posting their questions on Y!India!

Why?

Update 2:

@Lily, Apart from:

a, you didn't know it happened

b, your suggestion of the drop list has already been suggested (and it doesn't stop it from happening!)

c, I never said it 'annoys' me, I'm curious!

Why are YOU here on Y!India?

I never knew that US residents could get their questions on Y! India...

But when you go to the list of questions, there's this drop-down list:

    Show: All English questions

    - your country - questions only

If it really annoys you, just change it.

What you are seeing is the fact that all English speaking countries see all English language questions. Canada, Singapore, and others are also included. If you only want the questions from your country of choice, there is a dropdown at the top of every category list you look at.

It doesn't divert to Yahoo! India. Occasionally you can click on a question that generates from India, then end up on that site. You have to pay attention to how and where you're choosing the questions you answer. Best to just go to the categories you have knowledge/interest in to view open questions in those categories.
