take ps3 along to university ?

ok so i will be leaving for uk in a couple of weeks for my university (1st year). im in a big dilemma whether to take my ps3 along with me or not. i will be living in the university dorms.

any advice ???????

    dont take your ps3 to your uni.....coz your roomates will destroy it.....and there will be far better things to do than playing games...like hitting on girls....

    You say you will be leaving for the uk (United Kingdom). Does that mean that you are not presently in the uk? I ask because you might not even have a choice. If you live in North or South america right now, then don't even bother to take it, it won't work. The uk uses it own special power supply grid for electronics that differs from the united states. A united states ps3 won't even plug into the wall in the uk with out a special adapter. If however, you already live anywhere other than the united states, I say take it along. Just let your roommate know, on day one, that you'll bust his head open if anything happens to your ps3. Best of luck with your studies! And remember, games are a nice break, but knowledge lasts a lifetime.

    Find out if theft is a problem in your dormitory. Otherwise, I don't see a problem with it (assuming it does not affect your studies).
