Ericsson w595 problem?

Hi my sony ericsson w595 is not working properly. I cannot get into the phone menu at all and so cannot access many things including the phone settings needed to reset it. Moreover the software updater in the pc suite says error repairing every time i try to repair it and if i directly download the updater it says no new software available. What should I do? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thnx
