removing graphic card?
i am planning to remove graphic card temporarily and use onboard graphics since my psu is not enough to supply power to graphic card
i have nvidia 8500gt graphic card, asus p5gcmx/gbl motherboard and cheap 400w psu
tell me the procedure to remove the graphic card and what settings should be made in BIOS so as to use onboard graphics for gaming(cs 1.6).

Your PSU should be just fine for the 8500GT. It isn't getting any power directly from the PSU and the only power the card needs comes directly from the PCIEx16 slot itself... So if you are having any issues with things, it is from the card itself not from lack of power... If that card is working correctly you could power your system with a 300W and not hinder performance...
Now to do what you were wanting to do. Go your onboard graphics website, Intel, Nvidia, or ATI and download the proper drivers for your onboard graphics chip and your operating system. Then go to control panel and uninstall the Nvidia drivers for the 8500GT. The computer might reboot, then shut it off after it reboots. Unplug the PSU from the wall. Then take the card out, hook the monitor cable to the VGA of your onboard. Fire the system back up again. Once you reach desktop, install the drivers you downloaded for your onboard. It might restart one more time...

From my memory, a 400w PSU is strong enough to run the NVidia GeForce 8500GT.
