********* Monthly Check-Up Service *********?

2 months from now I am planning to do monthly check-up at customer door. The check-up include top-up of oils, serviceability of the vehicle and body washing.

The job takes 45 minutes, max. All the works are done by well trained and professional person at a nominal cost of Rs. 150/- per month.

Any suggestions, opinion, comment are welcomed. Thank you, Take care.

Update:

IND Rs.150 = US$ 3(approx)

There are only six items that may need to be either checked or "topped off". Cooling system, crankcase oil, automatic transmission fluid, power steering fluid, windshield washer fluid and distilled water in the battery. If you happen to have a rear wheel drive car the differential oil should be checked also. Consumer beware. All but windshield washer fluid rarely ever get topped off.

Personally I think it's fun to do these chores myself including washing and waxing my cars. You'll know that *everything has been done correctly of you do it. I think $150.00 could be used for a better grade of gasoline and full synthetic oil changes when they come due. My 87 year old dad has a saying about maintenance and repair: You "gotta wanna" do it!

If you feel uncomfortable about any of these $150.00 overpriced chores by all means it's commendable you'd hire someone to do it for you.

While Country Boy seems to have missed the point of your question entirely, I haven't.

In my experience with cars (over 30 years) I have never serviced one that needed a monthly inspection for anything under the hood or under the body.

The thought of $150/month for services that are not even required is outrageous in my opinion.

I doubt that you have checked service manuals to see when services are actually required.

I doubt too if you have conducted surveys to see if your planned venture would even be needed.

Six month service intervals are the current minimum and some vehicles have major components that can't even have their fluid levels checked and once a year servicing is all that is needed.

Back to the drawing board is my best advice for your proposed venture!

If you don't have, enough time to maintain your vehicle then its good to have a monthly visit.
