Need help buying grapics card?
I am thinking of buying a xfx , palit or zotac's 9800gt grahics card. Please Tell me that Will these cards be able to run gta 4, modern warfare 2, crysis warhead, nfs shift, dirt 2 at high settings with fast gameplay with no lags with my pc specs at- 2.50ghz dual core cpu, 2x 2gb ddr2 ram, asus p5kplamps motherboard. Also tell me which brand is better among the three i have listed.

All of those cards will have no problems with the games listed (you should be able to get the highest graphics settings on them to work fine).
For the brand really it's just an opinion. They have the same power and that's all it comes down to (to me).
Your processor isn't that powerful, but it can handle those games. I have an old pc with one and it runs those games fine. I couldn't get the highest settings, but I had an older card, so you should be fine.
Very nice setup overall for gaming you will have a hard time finding a game that does NOT work.

well yea a 9800GT will run those games,
But be aware GTAIV wants a quad core or a 3.4Ghz+ Dual core to run really good, But it should run alright with a 9800GT
as far as brand stick with XFX, i've had nothing but problems with Palits and Zotacs,
It really ought to run MW2,NFS, and dirt 2 really well at high if not highest settings.
FYI a 9800GTX+ is about 30$ more and offers almost double the performance of a 9800GT
I get 73fps on Dirt2 Ultra settings across the board 1920x1200 on my GTX260, my buddy gets 55fps same test, same settings with a 8800GTS SSC (112spu) [SSC edition of the 8800 was the 9800GT before the 9800GT was released)
My computer even with the GTX260 ran GTAIV like crap when i had my X2 6000+, so i got a Phaenom II X4 965 BE 3.4Ghz.

I just read through a review of that compared the 9800gt against the 9800GTX+ (there were other cards to). The 9800GTX+ is a better card and it's only $30 more, you should really consider getting it over the 9800GT.

stop attempting to get a video card top now. PCI video enjoying cards are ineffective for something yet tossing up a speedy and grimy better reveal or 2. The bus is plenty, way too gradual to run any form of contemporary 3-D pastime.

Ya its work. 98% tested.
nViDia chipset can run ur all fav games... but sure of that buy atleast 512 mb card for 3gb ram

m using nvidia 9800GTX+
I have played all that above game. at high setting.. all games r working awesome..
