It will be great if we can meet.

I am in Chennai city and I can take responsibility of arranging a conference hall and other such facilities if the venue is decided as Chennai.

To make this idea a grand success, the number of participants shall be maximum possible. So April-May 2010 may be ideal. Anyway if the answerer are giving their convenient option, we can jointly come to a conclusion.

Like many other users, I am also in in far away nation USA, and planning for a trip to India next year. Depends on the if the convention time and my vacation time meet I will surely make positive attempt to attend.

Chennai, Bangalore, does not matter much for me, because I belong to Western Part of India, thus I will have to travel to South India, though I am very much familiar with Chennai and less familiar with Bangalore.

Hopefully the convention will be in a language that everyone can understand.

Regarding identity, for this convention, I would rather use my real identity. I would not like to associate my Yahoo ID with real identity.
