Can I run GTA 4 on my current PC config, with settings set at medium ?

Your PC has nice setup, with the exception for the video card. 9400 GT is not strong enough for new games. GTA IV is unique in terms of level details: it is determined by the VGA memory available (minimum 256 MB for low, 512 for medium and 1 GB for high). So technically speaking, your VGA memory has more than enough to run GTA IV at medium detail settings, but the biggest hindrance would be the chip - 9400 GT. As your VGA has 1 GB memory, high detail may be possible, but the performance would be noticeably poor. If you do not plan to upgrade your VGA card right now, I suggest you lower the resolution, filtering etc to the most tolerable settings your PC can handle.

It may runs on medium settings but with a low resolution. Try to get a better gpu like nvidia geforce 9800gt or ati radeon hd4850.

I would go for the radeon hd4850. It is cheaper than the 9800gt but gives you much more power.

heey do not worry n do not listen to what others i have same graphics card n almost same configuration n belleive me not only gta 4 but many good games work fine on it but if u r willing 2 buy a new graphics card then go ahead

you should have win xp service pck 3 or vista it will work fine on ur pc u have a good pc
