how to Schedule the ADSL Modem for happy hours?
Dear all, We have happy hours from 2AM to 8 AM and needs the ADSL modem to come up for connectivity at 2 AM and gets disconnected at 8 AM without switching off the PC, using windows XP.
Please give step by step activity to be performed. Thanks all in advance for your precious time.......

Model UT300R2U, if that matters as scheduling should be there in LAN ie what I guess.

Probably the easiest thing to do would be to get a timer, plug the power supply for the modem into it, and set the timer to go on at 2:00 AM (maybe a bit earlier, to allow time for the modem to sync up) and off at 8:00 AM. What you may also want to do is get a wired router, plug the computer into the router and the router into the modem.
The only problem I can see is if you have a customer who is checking email or playing an online game at 8:00AM they will be indiscriminately cut off, they may not be too happy about that.
