Comparison of wall paints?

I want to get the interiors of my house painted, and I have no idea about them. I have been advised to use Dulux 3-in-1 stayclean paint which is about 50% more expensive than Dulux acrylic emulsion. I am interested in the features of the two kinds of paints, to judge whether its worth spending more for the former.

Also, I've come to know that 3-in-1 would entail double the labor

charges because of some additional activity that they need to do.

Any view on this would be useful.

3 in 1 is a heavy duty paint which normally used in high class buildings or some corroded places in which many people are passing by.

if you don't have little child better not to go for that. dulux emulsion we are using in many buildings for clients and the quality is also good, no need to worry if you dont have little kids.

I've always just used Behr paint and have been very happy with it. It's affordable and you can buy it at Home Depot...usually about $25 a gallon.

You'll need 2 coats, but that's recommended with any paint. Plus, you'll need to prime first if you're going for a drastic color change. (I've never bothered priming if the new color isn't that much different than the old color...and the end result was good even without the primer.)

The 3 in 1 is good if you have kids who tend to touch the walls with dirty hands, color on the walls with crayons or paint, or for use in kitchens and bathrooms where you would want to wash the walls.

Regular paint is just fine for normal "low traffic" (so to speak) applications.
