How to save Vista files????? Well, there are a number of ways. You can write data CD's or DVD's with the files on them. You can back up your entire computer to an external hard disk or internal secodary disk. You can back up to a thumb drive if you have a big enough one (they make up to 32 gig thumb drives)....you usually use a backup software and then a CD/DVD burning software.

In my experience, there is no real difference between IE7 and IE8 from a user standpoint. They both appear to pretty much be the same internet browser with no real advantage either way. The difference is "under the hood," in terms of security. Supposedly, IE8 is more secure than IE7. I started out with a Beta of IE8 and didn't see any difference then on 4 different computers I typically use. In terms of load time, download time, refresh time and other features, I see no difference at all between the two browser versions. I don't think upgrading to IE8 presents a signficant threat to a potential loss of data because the installer for IE8 makes a restore point before doing the installation. This means that you can restore the computer back to a state before it was installed and recover to IE7 and all you files and data prior to IE8 installation.
