Storing items in fallout 3?
how do you store items on the bookshelves in your megaton house? ive seen it on youtube videos but i cant simply place them on the shelves, only the lockers. how do i do this? easy 10 points?

To be honest, i am not sure. In your house it will be safe, so better keep it there. I have never tried to keep it in other places. However, down the track you will be friendly with other groups. I was able to keep it there safely too (won't give it away be telling where). I do not know what happes if you store it in places out in the open (like a bin outside a mall).

You have to drop them individually from your inventory, aim at them while they're on the ground, and pick them up (left stick button on the 360) and place them on the shelves then press the same button again to drop them.

All you do is drop the items you want on the shelves then you drag them onto the shelves and stand them up. :D

I'm pretty sure there isn't an "active" button to make it appear on the shelf. What you have to do is drop your item and physically carry it to the shelf and place it on there. I believe you use the left bumber to pick objects up and move them.
