Just installed tweeters. One sounds great, trying to find out what's wrong with the other one.?
I just put some new tweeters in my truck. One side sounds great but the other has constant distortion, then shuts off, then sounds great for a couple minutes then does the cycle over again. I have thicker wire connecting the tweeters to the speakers, should i be using the same size wire as the tweeters or what else could it be. It is also not as loud as the other one.

not trying to be a mean but did you get them at wallmart because i have heard of this a bunch of time with buying from wallmart or are they nice speakers like alpines

Have you checked your connections with the tweeters to the speakers? you could have a loose wire.
