If you can bridge the amp I would do so and then wire the subs in parallel so you get a 2 ohm load and the the most watts from your amp.

First are your subs single or dual voice coiled???Either way you have to wire both subs to put out at 4 ohms if your amp puts out at 4 ohms or you will either fry the amp or the subs.If its a 2 channel amp you have to bridge the subs.If its a mono amp then will you will have to wire both subs to it......go here for the wiring http://www.crutchfield.com/S-mqTlA29w0yV/learn/lea...

There is no way you will be able to use it at full power anyway, you would pass the pain barrier. You will most likely never go over 50 watts or so. Bit like some one buying a Ferrari but never going over 70mph.
