i have an 800 watt amp and need to make sure i have 4 ohms going to my two speakers?

i have two subwoofers that have RMS max at 150 at 4 ohms. I have to make sure the amp is on 4 ohms so i don't get a higher rms output to the speakers. how do i make 4 ohms come out of the amp to the speakers?

If you have a 4 ohm load connected to the amp the amp will automatically put out the RMS watts it is rated for at 4 ohms, if it is turned all the way up. However, if you have two 4 ohm subs connected to this one amp, you do not have a 4 ohm load, you either have a 2 ohm or an 8 ohm load, depending on whether you wired them in parallel or series. If you provide more detail such as what subwoofers and amp you have and also how the subs are wired it would be easier to help.

ohms is the load placed on the amp. You don't make it come out and you can't set it other than wiring your speakers the right way. if you have 4 ohm speaker and they are wired one to each channel, then you have 4 ohms load on the amp.
